Corrections Policy
GolfHubz is committed to accuracy. Golf is a sport defined by precise measurements, specific rules, and verifiable records. Getting a fact wrong is not a minor issue — it undermines the trust readers place in us. This policy explains exactly what we do when we discover an error.
What We Correct
We correct factual errors: incorrect statistics, misstated rules, wrong dates, inaccurate technical specifications, misattributed quotes, and broken or outdated information. We also update articles when the underlying facts change — for example, when a tournament rule is modified, a player breaks a record, or a manufacturer releases a new specification for a club.
We do not issue corrections for typographical errors that do not affect factual meaning (a misspelling that does not change a name or number, for instance), but we fix those when we notice them.
How Corrections Appear
Every corrected article includes a note at the bottom stating what was changed and when. Format:
Correction (June 15, 2026): The original version of this article stated that the PGA Championship cut rule applied to the “top 70 and ties.” The correct rule is “top 65 and ties” for the 2026 season. The article has been updated.
For minor factual fixes that do not change the meaning of the article (such as updating a player’s age or current world ranking), we add a brief note: “Updated March 2026 to reflect current statistics.”
